Interim managers

We always work on a 'no cure, no pay' basis and never request exclusivity. If we don’t find the right candidate, you don’t pay anything!

  • Outline - The interim candidate is hired by our agency and is contracted to the client on an hourly basis. The client does not have a direct business agreement with the candidate but with (a business unit of) Search & Co.
  • Invoicing - The interim professional fills in a timesheet every week. This is signed by the client and the freelancer. The timesheet is the basis for paying the interim professional and for invoicing the client.
  • Hourly rate - The interim hourly rate is indicated in the initial proposal per candidate. This rate includes all costs, excluding VAT and travel expenses. Hourly rates solely depend on negotiations with the candidates in question, or are determined by the budget specified by the client. No further fees, finder’s fees, or other disbursements are charged. Client only pays for hours worked.
  • Termination - The collaboration can be terminated by either party, with immediate effect, during the first 12 weeks. In the period spanning 12 and 26 weeks, the client has a notice period of 4 weeks and after 26 weeks, the notice period is 8 weeks.
  • Takeover - Interim candidates can be transferred to the client’s organisation at any time! In which case, the employee is employed by the client. Takeover involves the termination of the contract and, with this, the end of the business relationship between the client and DutchExpats. Client and employee can freely negotiate a transfer. The consent of DutchExpats is not required.
  • Transfer fees - If the client opts for a transfer working arrangement, it is important to know that we maintain the condition that a candidate can be transferred into the client’s employment after working 26 weeks, at no charge. If a candidate is transferred sooner, the following criteria apply:
    • Transfer fees within 10 weeks: 20 percent x hourly rate x hours per week x 26 weeks
    • Transfer fees between 10 and 20 weeks: 15 percent x hourly rate x hours per week x 26 weeks
    • Transfer fees within 27 weeks: 10 percent x hourly rate x hours per week x 26 weeks
    • No transfer fees after week 27
